Dr. Teresa Whitfield
A Surgeon's Eye, An Artist's Restraint
Dr. Teresa Whitfield founded Whitfield Aesthetic Surgery after more than a decade practicing at two of South Florida's leading academic medical centers. Trained in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, she brings a structural understanding of anatomy to every cosmetic consultation — a foundation she credits for the natural, long-lasting quality of her results.
Dr. Whitfield completed her general surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and maintains hospital privileges at three South Florida surgical centers.
Her practice today is intentionally small. Dr. Whitfield performs every procedure herself, limits her surgical calendar to protect recovery time and outcomes, and personally conducts every consultation, follow-up, and injectable treatment.
